Horseback ride only - featured tour

(Available every day)

Enjoy a peaceful ride along the banks of the Verde River. Your horseback ride will be approximately 1.5 hours, plus some time to get acquainted with your mount and receive basic riding instructions. All of our rides include transportation to and from the ranch. Note: please make sure to include your telephone number so we can confirm the details of your reservation.

Duration:    1.5 hour horseback ride – 3.5 to 4 hours including transportation to the ranch and back.

Cost: Adults $79  / $79 kids $   (min. age 6)

Complete Western Experience featured tour (Available Weds., Thurs., Fri. and Sat only) This tour is not available in the months of August and January. Start your adventure with a jeep tour in Sedona’s western canyons. This area was home to both the Apache and the Sinagua, and the setting for many of the films made in the area. While on this scenic ride your guide will tell you the pioneer history, local legends and much more. Next, enjoy a scenic ride to Dead Horse Ranch State Park for your horseback ride. The trail starts along the Verde River, occasionally crossing the cool water under the shade of giant sycamore trees, then passing from riverbed to high desert to limestone hills. In the distance Tuzigoot National Monument is clearly visible. This riparian environment supports a wide array of animals, including: javalina, great blue heron, black hawks, raccoons, mules deer, beavers, ducks and frogs. Your horseback ride will terminate at the Blazin’ M Ranch for a true Western experience that the entire family will enjoy. As you step into the Western courtyard you will enjoy a wide variety of sights and activities, including: a shooting gallery, horseshoe pits, a mechanical roping horse and family farm animals. At 6:30 pm the dinner bell rings and you will be treated to an all-you-can-eat chuckwagon dinner in the climate controlled “barn”. After supper sit back and enjoy the harmonic sounds and delightful cowboy music of this hour-long Western stage production filled with storytelling, comedy, and some surprises you won’t forget. Transportation back to Sedona follows the show. Entertainment - “the Blazin’ M Cowboys” Dinner Selection – ALL YOU CAN EAT – Sliced Beef or Chicken Breast (simmered in BBQ sauce) Foil-wrapped Russet Potato Cowboy Beans Cow Slaw (that’s cole slaw with a little barnyard humor) Homemade Biscuits with Butter and Honey Chunky Applesauce Spice Cake with whipped topping Lemonade, Iced tea or Coffee Vegetarian Meals available upon reservation request. Horseback Ride, Jeep Tour and Picnic Lunch - featured tour (Available every day but Sunday) (2 hr. Jeep Tour, 1.5 hr. horseback ride & picnic lunch) Start your adventure with a two-hour jeep tour in Sedona’s western canyons. Then enjoy a scenic ride to the ranch for your horseback ride. Your 1.5 hour ride will take you along the banks of the Verde River, under the shade of giant sycamores and cottonwoods. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed along the way.
